Today, the educational initiative started by Don Bosco has become a large network and is present in more than 140 countries. Inspired by the Don Bosco style of education and evangelization, many people are engaged in actions which offer the young a perspective of social insertion, especially in cases where this is not guaranteed initially. This Salesian mission continues in schools, professional training centers, youth centers, parishes, centers for social assistance and many other projects. Don Bosco's intention was that all partners involved in his mission, become "signs and porters of the love of God" whilst respecting each individual's personal convictions.
Assam Don Bosco University is an educational institution set up by the Don Bosco Society, with the objective of promoting technical excellence and holistic development of the human person.
