Admission Procedure

Admission through merit, based on performance in:

• An Entrance Test (AIEEE, CEE of Assam, or GET DBU - Graduate Entrance Test of Don Bosco University)

• Class XII Examinations (aggregate and marks for Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics)

A few seats are available for lateral entry into third semester for government-recognised 3-year diploma holders. These applicants will have to appear for DBU-GET.

Graduate Entrance Test of Assam Don Bosco University (DBU-GET)

• Admission to the B.Tech. Programme is only through an Entrance Test. Those who have not appeared for AIEEE or CEE of Assam must appear for the DBU-GET.

• Date: 10 June, 2010 (Thursday).

• Venue: Don Bosco College of Engineering & Technology, Azara, Guwahati -781017

• Prospectus will be available soon from the offices of Don Bosco College of Engineering and Technology, Azara , and from select brances of the Axis Bank* ( Rs. 700.00 applying with GET and Rs. 500.00 applying without GET). Application procedure is explained in the prospectus.

• To obtain prospectus and application form by post, send a DD for Rs. 750.00 (applying with GET) or Rs. 500.00 (applying without GET), drawn in favour of 'Secretary, Don Bosco Society, Azara,' payable at Guwahati, to The Registrar (Admissions), Don Bosco University, Airport road, Azara, Guwahati - 781017, Assam.
